Local Expert Academy Terms & Conditions

Definitions:

Participant: Refers to any real estate agent or individual who enrolls in, accesses, or uses the Local Expert Academy program.

Program Provider: Refers collectively to Local Expert Academy, including Ryan Smith and associated officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns. The Program Provider is responsible for delivering the Local Expert Academy program to Participants.

Program Access and Usage:

Program Overview: Local Expert Academy provides a comprehensive, step-by-step training system designed for real estate agents to master geographic farming. Upon purchase, Participants receive access to the core curriculum and tools for the first 3 months, followed by ongoing monthly access as long as the subscription remains active.

Program Structure Includes:
- The Launch Pad
- Local Expert Launch
- Hyperlocal Domination
- All current and future training strategies
- Monthly strategy releases with tools, templates, and resources
- Bi-weekly live group coaching calls
- Access to the private Local Expert Group (available only to current, active members)
- Access to Ryan Smith for questions and coaching support via the private group
- The Local Expert Newsletter System (included in Hyperlocal Domination for active members only)

Subscription Terms: The initial enrollment includes 3 months of access ($999 CAD), after which access continues on a monthly basis at $199/month. Access to all training materials, resources, coaching, and the private group is available only while the subscription is active and in good standing. Prices are subject to change.

Intellectual Property:

All materials, including templates, training resources, and scripts, are owned and/or provided by the Program Provider. Participants are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use these materials for personal and professional growth within their real estate business. Unauthorized distribution or use outside the scope of the program is strictly prohibited.

Modification of Program Content:

The Program Provider reserves the right to modify, improve, or enhance the program content at any time. These changes may be made to improve the learning experience or to reflect updated industry practices. Participants will be notified of significant updates or changes that affect access to specific modules or resources.

Exclusivity and Geographic Farm Areas:

Local Expert Academy does not guarantee any geographic exclusivity. Multiple agents from the same market or brokerage may participate in the program. No territory restrictions or exclusivity promises are made.

7-Day Money-Back Guarantee:

Local Expert Academy offers a 7-day money-back guarantee under the following conditions:

Initial Assignment Completion: Participants must complete and submit the “Foundations of Farming” assignments from the Launch Pad module within the first 7 days. Assignments can be submitted to [email protected].Exit Interview: Participants must request and attend a brief exit interview (via phone or video) within 30 days of the refund request. The Program Provider will coordinate scheduling.

To initiate a refund, participants must email [email protected] within 7 days of enrollment. Once a refund is issued, all access to program content, tools, templates, groups, and materials is revoked immediately. Refunds typically take 5–10 business days to process.

Trial Cancellation Policy

Participants enrolled under a trial period (if offered) will lose access to all content and progress made if they cancel before the end of the trial period. No data, history, or access is retained after cancellation.

Assistant/Administration Bonus License:

Participants may grant one assistant a bonus license under the following terms:

Only the original participant is eligible for the 7-day refund. If a refund is issued, the assistant's access will be revoked.The assistant must comply with all ethical and professional standards set forth by the Program.Any misuse by the assistant will be the responsibility of the Participant and may result in suspension of access until compliance is restored.

One-to-One Coaching Call:

Participants may qualify for a one-time, private coaching call with Ryan Smith by paying for the program in full. This session is delivered virtually and must be booked after 3 months of participation but within 30 days following the 12-month mark.

Compliance with Local Regulations:

Participants are solely responsible for ensuring that their business activities comply with applicable local, state/provincial, and federal laws. It is recommended that Participants consult their broker, board, or legal counsel for region-specific guidance.

Participant Responsibilities:

Participants are expected to uphold professionalism, confidentiality, and community values. Sharing login credentials, downloading and distributing materials without permission, or providing access to non-members is prohibited.

No Guaranteed Results:

While the Program Provider offers high-quality training and resources, success is influenced by a variety of factors including effort, experience, and market conditions. No specific financial or business results are guaranteed.

Third-Party Tools and Affiliate Links:

Local Expert Academy may recommend or integrate third-party tools or services. The Program Provider is not responsible for their functionality or terms. Some links may be affiliate links, and Participants are encouraged to do their own research.

Limitation of Liability:

The Program Provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the use of the program. Participation is voluntary, and all results are influenced by factors outside the Program Provider’s control.

Indemnification:

Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Program Provider against any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from their participation or from professional activities conducted as a result of the training.

Changes to Terms & Conditions:

The Program Provider reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Any significant changes will be communicated through the website and/or email notification.
